Guest guest
Hi ,  Thanks for that..funny enough Dylan didn't like the Egg Drink hot or warm to start with ..then just on the weekend after a cold and wet footy game I gave him a cup that had been in a thermos for a few hours...he loved it and wants it like that again!!YEAH...much better than a pie..sausage in a roll and coke like all the other boys in the team have.!! I can't help but cringe when I see what kids eat now.......i also too find it tastes nicer when it has rested for a while in a thermos...great to hear from another Aussie...  Take Care and Blessings to you too,    Hi , here again. Just in regard to the egg drink for your son, (I've got a son on the diet too). My son isn't that keen on the 'hot' egg drink. So after I make it I put the blender in the fridge (with the egg drink in it) until it cools down. Then he loves it. He drinks it down like a milkshake. Other group members drink it cold as well. Blessings, > > > > > > Hi Bee, >  > > Bee should I ..just keep going and trust he will put on weight again soon? I thought I could make him drink the Egg Drink (he doesn't like it much) in between meals and before bed time.....would this help put on weight??....my ex husband suggested to give him Brown Rice and Greek Yogurt again to put some of the weight back on .even though not part of the diet and I don't want to undo all the good work... >  > Thanks so much Bee for your advice and support, >  > > >
Guest guest
Just out of interest - I make my egg drink as a savoury drink by adding salt and a spoonful or two of nutritional yeast along with the butter and coconut oil. Much prefer it like that - like egg soup! I did use the nutritional yeast for B vitamins but have found it better to use 50mg vit B tablets, so I now just pop one teaspoonful pf the NY in the drink for the taste. So I'll prepare a bunch of broccoli the night before then reheat a serving in hot water and add that to my egg drink. Comes out like a thick creamy soup; delish! I used to make it savory (adding garlic, pepper, etc.) but I use the 'regular' spices (cinnamon, nutmeg) and the nutritional yeast. It's yummy! I use a Magic Bullet to blend it all together. moderator
