However since I could no longer afford organic meat I switched to regular stuff and it seems like it has been making me break out in my chin area. I've had skin breakouts before but never has it been this bad and never on my chin area. The thing that has changed is the non organic meat and butter. I've been eating non organic for about 8 months. And breaking out continually, sometimes I clear a bit and then, especially it seems pork will make me break out again. > > A lot of animals are very sick and have a horrible life so I'm wondering if they are living in such bad condition how are they able to detoxify themselves? Also I've heard that animals are stressed and so have elevated cortisol levels in them which we in turn get when we eat the meat. +++Hi , Animals are butchered long before they become very sick, which takes time just like the deterioration of our own bodies take time. When the animals body selects nutrients it needs in order to produce energy or maintain cellular health (that make up the tissues, i.e. meats, fats, etc.) the programming of their cells does not include using cortisol, since cortisol is simply a signalling hormone that cells use to communicate back and forth. Since pork makes you break out more it is most likely due to nutrients in it that other kinds of meats do not have, so it is helping your body more. Pork is particularly easy for Humans to digest too. Also since you've had continual breakout it will continue until your body finishes detoxifying in that way. Breaking out in any other area, other than where you did before, doesn't mean anything. Bee
Guest guest
HOWDY! Just wanted to let you know what I've been going through with non-organic meats. READ THE LABEL!!! Beef & Pork & Chicken are INJECTED with a solution. So I googled what that could be. Turns out it is regular table salt & sodium phosphate & could contain NATURAL FLAVOR ENHANCERS approved by the FDA. And we know what that means. I unknowingly bought some pork with 12% solution & it drove my intestines crazy. It was on sale, so I bought a big tray of it. Sadly, it hit the trash. Then I read the huge tube of Hamburger & it too, was injected with a 12% solution. Then I looked at the whole chicken that stated " MINIMALLY PROCESSED " & it too stated a 12% solution. " THEY " are just against us trying to achieve health & that's all there is to it!!! I've had to switch to Super S Food Store because they carry NOLAN RYAN All Natural Beef. It is pricey, but my guts do not go through that horrible sensation. Guest guest
Hi Bee, thanks for the explanation. Debbie the meat I buy doesn't even list ingredients so maybe I should ask about it. I wish I could afford organic it really makes me feel better about eating meat. But soon I may have access to quality ranch meat at a better price. Buying in bulk is a good way to save, of course you need more money up front. Take care, > > Hi Bee, > > I know you have mentioned before that animals detoxify so when we eat the meat it isn't loaded with toxins like we are led to believe. Guest guest
Howdy! I was at Walmart last night & decided to look at ALL of their meat products. Every single one had the 12% Solution or NATURAL FLAVORING or table salt, sodium phosphate, etc. Even the Minimally Processed or All Natural ones. The ONLY exceptions were liver, tongue & tripe. You really have to LOOK for the ingredients or a tiny one line comment. Turn the package over & look for the Nutritional Guide that lists protein, fat, carbs, etc. If the SODIUM % is high, that's an indication it is LOADED with the solution. USUALLY, under that box, the ingredients are listed. I am NEVER buying meat again without READING the labels, then FEED it to my trashcan!!! Like I said, I am fortunate to have Nolan Beef here in my small town. It is Hormone Free & Antibiotic Free & Grass Fed. The hamburger runs about $4.00 Lb. A bargain to me, especially if I get to eat it vs. the trashcan, hah! Hope you can use some of what I've learned the hard way, DeBBie. Guest guest
Jd, guess we better look even at meat labels. Meat is being shot up with stuff. Did you read the email about " meat glue " ? Bee is going to write about it soon... On 5/2/2011 8:20 AM, DeB wrote: > > > > Howdy! I was at Walmart last night & decided to look at ALL of their > meat products. Guest guest
Hi Debbie, How unfortunate hey! Well I do look at labels and look for ingredients all the time but this stuff shows nothing. Probably not a good sign.. It's a small grocery store and the owners don't seem to speak very good english so it's hard finding info out about products. I also feel at a lot of places people don't actually know the answers to my questions but they just give me some sort of answer to make me go away. Geez. Bee- thanks for your reply! > > > > > > > > Howdy! I was at Walmart last night & decided to look at ALL of their > > meat products.
