What would be the maximum amount ginger or spices recommended? > +++Hi Adri, It is not protein grams times 0.3 to get carb grams. Use the Simple Calculator on this page to get your correct ratios: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/foods8.php To figure out the quantity or amount of each food you need to eat to meet those ratios you need to enter your foods into fitday.com since grams cannot be translated to amounts of foods: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/foods9.php You can have any kind of spices, but depending upon how much you consume they will decrease the amount of other carbs you can have, and spices are only used in small amounts. Many spices and ginger are diuretic which makes your body lose water along with important minerals, so be cautious about having very much per day. Guest guest
Thank you very much for your explanation. English is not my mother language so I may have misinterpreted what you wrote, just to be sure here is a pic of my fitday food log (tomato puree is a custom food) : http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=2ldd2xy & s=7 or http://i51.tinypic.com/2ldd2xy.png Could you please confirm if my ratios are correct, my height is 178 cm. I'm willing to have a consultation with you, would you agree to do it by email? I have 5 or less questions. All the best, Adri. > +++Hi Adri, > > It is not protein grams times 0.3 to get carb grams. Please to go this article click on USE THIS SIMPLE CALCULATOR and type in your height as instructed, then write down your ratios: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/foods8.php Eggs are entered by size (large, medium or small) in your fitday log, and not in grams. As you enter carbs (all foods that are not fat or protein) write down the amount of fibers, i.e. vegetables, spices, ginger, etc. After you have entered all of your foods, subtract the total fibers from the total carbs to get Net Carbs.
