Guest guest
I am experiencing extreme hunger that leads to nausea about 1-2 hours after I eat. Example: 2 eggs cooked in bacon grease, 3 strips of bacon, 2 slices tomatoes - celtic salt added - Tablespoon CO before meal. Is it detox symptom or am I doing something wrong? Guest guest
KD, It took me about a month on the plan before I stopped having that sort of hunger. I often said I felt like I could eat my own arm if I didn't get something soon! To get by I snacked on properly prepared nuts, they are not on the plan anymore but if you are new to the group you are still phasing in and have different " rules " . If you are hungry, just eat a good fat/protein and you'll get through this in no time! Angie > > I am experiencing extreme hunger that leads to nausea about 1-2 hours after I eat. Guest guest
Hi KD, It can take up to 4 months for your body to switch from glucose burning to fat burning for energy. In the meantime you can experience hunger between meals. It's okay for you eat between meals when you are first starting on Bee's program, but it's important that you eat some protein along with fat. Your extreme hunger will eventually subside and you should go back to 2 to 3 meals a day. Just hang in there - it takes time! Guest guest
Where does one find bacon other than store bought? I didn't realize that this too, is a source of MSG. Thanks, Jen
Guest guest
Hi Jen, Some independent health food stores or food co-ops have it. You could also just buy sidepork and use that as bacon. It takes great with lots of salt added!
