Guest guest
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> HI, I posted this to the liver flush forum. Noone has been able to understand this and I have never heard of this happening to anyone else. Everyone says the same thing - that it's so stange. I know there is a vet (Will ?) on this list so maybe he can help... I appreciate any answers. " Ok, I can't figure this out. When I refer to gas, I am talking about belching. I had indigestion for almost 30 years , since age 8. I had very frequent spells of intense burping. I finally figured out last year it was indigestion. So I had almost 30 years of producing a lot of gas. I now take digestive enzymes, HCL and bile acids and don't produce this gas generally. But, if I do one of the following I will get gas: a. dry skin brushing b. massage of the abdomen c. drinking carrot juice (later I realized it was probably the ionized water I was drinking). a. and b. are not related to food at all. Does anyone know where this belching would come from ? Can gas travel to different parts of the body ? Is it possible I'm releasing gas from my liver when I do a and b. ? Or from folds in the stomach ? I also have a relapse when I get this gas. Any thoughts are appreciated - this is driving me crazy. " Since writing this, I learned that gas bubbles can form in tissues: http://www.esb.utexas.edu/palmer/bio303/group1/gas%20gangrene%20page.htm So, what I know is: a. I had long standing indigestion since age 8 b. this started after a long course of IV antibiotics c. I got rid of the belching with enzymes, HCL and bile acids d. I felt better when doing this but still quite ill e. activities other than foods will bring on the belching, in fact, I'm not bother by food at all now, so I think my supplements are ensuring the food is broken down. Based on that, I'm wondering if: a. some of the gas created during all those years of fermentation could have been absorbed into my body and tissues ? b. could dry skin brushing be moving some of it out through my liver into my intestines and up through my stomach (I know bile can travel this route). c. how can I get the gas out ? >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> ; This sounds like candida albican to an exstreme. It can be beaten to submission but I can guarantee that it's going to be painfull to do so. Especially if your'e dealing with any forms of joint dis-ease, like arthritis. Perhaps one of the best diets you could dare to do is a very low carb diet. In fact it is actually lower than the Atkins diet in carbs, a virtual protien diet, if your kidneys are in good enough condition to handle it. http://seasilver.threadnet.com/Preventorium/candida.htm I had to do this diet a number of years ago just to see if in fact I did have an over abundance of candida. I had two choices; Pay a doctor for the testing, or simply doing the diet to see if I aquired the Herxhimer Reaction from the dieoff of candida. There are a number of books written regarding this problem. If you've been dealing wtih it since the age of eight then its pretty well spread throughtout your body. It may even behoove you to consider having some help in dealing with the process of eliminating the excess of candida in your body. I certainly hope you are enabled by this tid bid of inforamtion to do something about your condidion. Some people have had this to where it was so bad that it would cause fermentation of pasta to where they would be drunk like. Dale
Guest guest
; One note to add here is for you to consider these from a herbalist friend of mine to whom I noted your situation. Guest guest
Hi Dale, I don't get the gas with food anymore. I had candida but now I don't' have candida symptoms anymore. I got rid of the gas/spacey feeling when I changed my eating tiems and started enzymes/HCL/bile salts. What I'm trying to understand now is why I get gas when I skin brush or massage my abdomen. That's why I was aksing if gas can travel to the bloodstream and store in tissues. A little internet searching has shown that gas has been found in veins and tissues, so what I'm thinking could be right, but I don't know. > -----Original Message----- > From: Dale [mailto:Da_@...] > Sent: August 10, 2004 9:56 AM > gallstones > Subject: Re: someone please help me understand this strange > symptom > > >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> > HI, > I posted this to the liver flush forum. Guest guest
Hi Dale, Thanks very much for checking with your friend. I actually don't have systemic candida - had my blood tested using blood microscopy. It looked pretty good except for a little bit of anemia. > -----Original Message----- > From: Dale [mailto:Da_@...] > Sent: August 10, 2004 11:06 AM > gallstones > Subject: Re: someone please help me understand this strange > symptom > > ; > > One note to add here is for you to consider these from a herbalist friend > of mine to whom I noted your situation. > > " The Lady should try Caprillic Acid & probably Celandine, and an > astringent like Amur Cork & /or White Willow - Very effective with systemic > Candita " > > Dale > >
Guest guest
Hi . Did not see your original message, but read some replies Hope this info might be of use...as the saying goes, take what you can use and leave the rest. Two ideas from my experience as midwife, mother and GB woman! 1. colic in babes responds well to pressure on abdomen. I have experienced positive results when having GB colicky feeling to get on hands and knees with pillows and/or sofa/chair arm/back putting pressure on abdomen---some heat in form of warm pack can help, but I choose not to use pressure when using castor oil so as to stay in tune with the gentle health benefits. Also helping me in the past to have taken soy lecithin, valerian, etc....would recommend that you use whatever aids you find helpful to reduce distress. 2. candida can be a real pain in everywhere. Essential oil of Tea Tree, pure essential oil, mixed with distilled water and used topically can help with symptomatic itching. Neat or undiluted application in mouth or in small amount of water can help with internal distress. There are lots of great websites with info on the marvelous tea tree oil. This EO is wonderful not only for producing environment unfriendly to candida, but also improving environment for friendly bacteria. Unanticipated thought occurs.......water, water, water-clean and fresh. Can hardly get too much, in us or on us. Continuing to listen and learn with this knowledgable and generous group, even if I rarely post. Always challenged to be more responsible for my own health. Thank you all. regards and improving health to all, midge from the florida keys where hurricane charley seems headed!
Guest guest
, most people have about 2.2 pounds of bacteria lining thier intestinal tract. Almost all of it is good, healthy and necessary. When you take antibiotics, particularly broad spectrum antibiotics it wipes out virtually all this bacteria. When food is passed from the large intestine to the small intestine and it's not throughly digested (by the bacteria which you don't have) , it sits there and ferments and causes gas to come out of you at both ends. Doctors will tell you that it's not big deal because in a very short amount of time you will replenish this bacteria and all will be fine. This is simply not true. FIrst of all the bacteria that does not get killed by the antiboiotics and fungus's take hold and now you have a completely different environment in your gut. It may even be that you may never restore your flora to normal. Remember it was the same doctors who for 30 years told you that the belching and bloating and yeast overgrowth was quackary and they made fun of it. You must remember that doctors and drug companies work hand in hand. So, what to do, that is the question. Well , you might first go to your local health food store and buy some Acidophelles. A good one will be in the refrigerated section and you will know within several days if this does the trick. Try to buy a good brand with at least 10 billion critters per daily dose. A good one will also have 5 or 6 different species too. Unfortunately you may have to take for a long time because to be quite honest with you, I personally doubt that you will ever restore your gut flora to what it was when you were born. That you got from your mother and she got her's and she from her mother and that is the way it's been for thousands of years. Antibiotics were introduced only 60 years ago (amazing how much damage they have done in so short a period of time isn't it?). Anyway, it's worth the small investment to try it for a few weeks. If it does not work with one brand, try another. Sometimes what is in the bottle is not on the label. Doctors, who used to deny this all happened in the first place now tell you after antibiotics to just eat yoghurt. Well, yoghurt does not have 1 millionth of what is in that little bottle and also with yoghurt you are getting more antibiotics and growth hormones that came from the cow. In other words , we are the wizards with the white coats and if you don't like what we do well, just do this dumb thing if it makes you feel any better. They keep on showing thier ignorance both of the problem and the real danger of antibiotics. Try what I said and you may have some luck. The enzymes and HCL are good but they are two things which your body will continue to produce even after years of antibiotics. Your body cannot produce it's own intestinal bacteria. Those are life forms that have to come from outside your body. GOOD LUCK > HI, > I posted this to the liver flush forum. Guest guest
To everyone: Thanks for all the advice , I appreciate it. I just realized I left out a very important point. I only skin brush maybe every 6 weeks because I can tolerate so few days until I start a massive burping attack and I do the abdominal massage a couple of days before a liver flush. So there is a huge amount of time between burping episodes. I don't get it everyday. I go weeks without it, then skin brush, have it for a couple days, stop brushing and it goes away. That's why I don't understand it. I used to get it everyday but the digestive aids stopped it right away. So what I don't get is , if it is an overgrowth in the stomach or intestines, why don't I get it everyday as opposed to only once in a whiel when I skin brush. I think everyone probably thought I had this burping everyday. > -----Original Message----- > From: wiech89 [mailto:wiech89@...] > Sent: August 11, 2004 10:47 PM > gallstones > Subject: Re: someone please help me understand this strange > symptom > > , most people have about 2.2 pounds of bacteria lining > thier intestinal tract. Guest guest
Belching is also caused by swallowing air. Certain actions (such as twisting the body) or drinking in certain ways may cause you to belch. Check to see that you are not mouth breathing. ~S
