Sorry, the other post got away from me.

Bee, I don't see that it says it's seasoned. Here is the description:

" Salt is a universally popular seasoning - and Frontier makes it easy with

gourmet-quality natural sea salt. Our unrefined, unbleached sea salt is

harvested fresh from North French Atlantic coasts and comes in a convenient

5-lb. package. " It does say it's a seasoning. On the package itself, it says

" premium, all-natural sea salt harvested directly from North French Atlantic

coasts. "

, good idea to contact Frontier and ask about the mineral content, which I

did. No response so far, so I'll ask them again.

All the best,

H.

I finally received a response from Frontier. Here it is:

" We do not test for the exact mineral content however, the seawater that the

salt comes from contains minerals that the salt will absorb trace amounts of

such as iron, magnesium, calcium, potassium, manganese, zinc and iodine.

" This is unrefined and unbleached and harvested fresh from North French Atlantic

coasts. It is white because that is the color it is when it comes out of the

brine-it is not treated in anyway. The grey sea salt is also an all natural sea

salt that is unrefined and unprocessed. "

Not too satisfactory in comparison with information given with some other brands

of sea salt.
