Guest guest
Hi, I'm pretty sure that when your bowels are green that it means that you have a good supply of iron in your body. Nothing to really be concerned about. At least that is what I was told in the past. Hope that helps to relieve your mind a little. Hugs & Healing, Carol From: nina.gonzales46@... Date: Sat, 8 Jan 2011 20:01:19 +0000 Subject: [ ] Liver Bile Hi group, After being on Bees's all fat and protein diet plus supplements for 6 months, my bowel movements have changed color. Originally very light and pale, they have changed to a deep green within the last week. Have I been on the meat and fat program too long? I still don't feel capable of digesting any vegetable fibers even if they were thoroughly cooked and pureed. This is the furthest I have ever gotten in the recovery of my health, and I'm not ready to explore pureed foods at this time. Is there danger to consuming meat and fat for extended periods? Too much conflicting information on the web about liver, fat consumption, and health. I want to believe that the change in color means that my liver is doing what it is supposed to, and that my continued reliance on the all meat and fat diet, including supplements, will continue to create positive changes. So many changes going on, but this one I wanted to run by the group to help with the uncertainty. Thank you everyone for your time and energy in providing valuable support. Thank you Bee for a program that seems to be making a difference for those of us who have never responded positively to years of medical and alternative care. Green bowels means toxins are coming out, so that is nothing to be concerned about. > > Have I been on the meat and fat program too long? Price studied ate all meat and fat yet they were the healthiest of any groups he researched. Also there was a year-long study done in a New York hospital on 2 men who only ate meat and fat who were healthier at the end of the study - see this article for the Eskimos diet and the study: http://www.biblelife.org/stefansson1.htm > > Too much conflicting information on the web about liver, fat consumption, and health. Yes, your liver is doing what it should, and you know you are progressing and not getting worse. In fact all of the disease processes are exactly the same as the healing and detoxifying processes created by the body itself in an effort to maintain its health, in spite of poor nutrition, toxins, etc. The only difference for people on this healthy program is they are now progressing towards health rather than becoming more and more unhealthy, or dis-eased, because they are giving their body what it needs to " be healthy " according to Nature's Laws on Health. The medical field labels each and every " sign " of poor health as separate dis-eases, illnesses, symptoms, etc., however all of them are simply " signs " the body is working hard to maintain its health, so all of those " signs " are actually normal body reactions. In other words, they are just " signs " that the body is successfully attempting to restore its own balance. As Florence Nightengale, the famous nurse, puts it: " There are no specific diseases; there are [only] specific disease conditions.
