+++Hi . Your cod liver oil should be okay if it was in the cupboard and

not in the light for 2-3 days. That's good you found out soon enough and put it

in the fridge.

Lemon juice will not mix with the oil because it is mostly water.

You can add a few drops of an essential oil like clove or mint to it, but use as

little as possible since essential oils can create healing reactions. Ensure

you buy an essential that can be taken internally, that does not contain

anything else like alcohol, and once that isn't just for aromatherapy purposes.
