Guest guest
Hi Bee or moderator, I just started taking a teaspoon of cod liver oil and my heart rate picked up significantly, pounds in my chest, and I feel exhausted as well as a knot in my stomach all day. Why is this and does this mean I cannot take cod liver oil? Lore

It is nothing to be concerned about, and such symptoms may come and go for awhile - see this article about Healing Foods: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/heal14.php You might take less than 1 teaspoon, i.e. 1/2 tsp 3 times a day, but always take it with complete meals, and then slowly increase it to the full amount recommended. When your heart starts to race, do deep breathing exercises: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/breath4.php All the best, Bee
