Hi Bee or moderator, I just started taking a teaspoon of cod liver oil and my

heart rate picked up significantly, pounds in my chest, and I feel exhausted as

well as a knot in my stomach all day. Why is this and does this mean I cannot

take cod liver oil?

+++Hi Lore,

That is a normal response for new people taking CLO since it is a very healing

foods that helps your body create healing and detoxifying reactions, like all

other healing foods do.

It is nothing to be concerned about, and such symptoms may come and go for

awhile - see this article about Healing Foods:

You might take less than 1 teaspoon, i.e. 1/2 tsp 3 times a day, but always take

it with complete meals, and then slowly increase it to the full amount

recommended.

When your heart starts to race, do deep breathing exercises:

All the best, Bee
