Guest guest
Hi If your ferritin is VERY low, then yes, it is quite safe to take up to 600mgs and split this three times daily. However, if you are hypothyroid, don't take your thyroid hormone replacement anywhere near to iron. You need to leave 3 to 4 hours between the two. Best if you can take thyroid hormone replacement when you go to bed and that leaves the day free to take your iron. Read the information here under 'Doses' http://xpil.medicines.org.uk/ViewPil.aspx?DocID=20082 Luv - Sheila i was taking ferrous salphate but only 200mg a day,ive tried spatone and now hemaplex. is it safe to take 600mg a day of iron if ferritin is very low? .x No virus found in this incoming message. Ask your GP about galfer syrup. It worked for me and my anaemic sister when nothing else did. It was also kinder on our guts and we didn't suffer from the dreadful constipation iron pills tend to create. The only drawback is that it can turn your teeth black but it does clean off, honest!> > Tracey> > > > ------------------------------------> > TPA is not medically qualified. Guest guest
Hi - again, type Galfar Syrup' into your search engine to read about it. You can see that you can only buy it with an NHS prescription so you will be able to get this from a UK pharmacy. Sheila > > > > I swear by liquid iron which is available on prescription. There are many things in the body that work together so it is able to utilize iron, or any other minerals, like it should, including B12, the good combination of fats I recommend, etc. Of course all nutrients work together. You do not reply when I ask about how you are doing on the 9-Day Program, so I assume you are not doing it. Until you do it, I won't be able to advise you. The best to you, Bee
Guest guest
Hi Bee Yes, I started the 9 day program and had a glitch - I did an enema and had a small evacuation and then the next day used more water. I went to the bathroom 4 times in 40 minutes, and had cramps for 2 days. I remember this happened when I did a colonix about 4 years ago. Everything came out You think it would go, I take all the fats, 1000mg of C and the magnesium. By the way, I do owe you a huge amount of thanks, for getting me on the coconut oil -- this literally saved my life -- I tried everything under the sun - enzymes, grapefruitseed extract, etc to rid the candida and my immune system had bad reactions. I'll try another enema tomorrow, maybe not so much water. I am having the broth, keep burping it up for a good hour afterwords, its not that nice, but the broth turned out real good can tell there is a lot of nutrients in there. The only thing I am considering is the castor oil before bed, but I tried this one time and it really gives me a headache I think its hard on your liver and mine is not that great right now from years of alcohol and tylenol.....poor food. thanks
