I've found that milk thistle works every bit as good as apple juice. In fact

for me, it works better. If you use it before a liver flush, try to start at

least two weeks beforehand and take it at the highest recommended dosage. Over

the long term it will repair the liver.

Hi Jay,

What is the recommended dose of Milk Thistle?

I buy it in bulk by the pound, and it doesn't come with any info on

dose. It's very cheap to buy it this way, and I take a teaspoon a

day of whole Milk Thistle seed with my teaspoon of Flax Seed that I

buy by the pound also.

Hi ,

I thoroughly chew up the milk thistle seed with my whole flax seed

and wash down with my morning juice drink. Not for everyone I

realize :)

I store the bulk herb in the freezer tightly packed to help keep it

fresh. I keep some of it in a jar in the cupboard to make it easier

to get to each day. Hopefully I use it before it goes too long.

Since it is the whole seed, it is in the package that the Lord gave

it to keep it fresh for a while.

Hi , I agree with adding the wisdom God allows us to have to

what he gave us naturally. I save okra seeds each year that I got

from a friend whose family grows this strain each year. He told me

that if I kept them in the freezer they would remain viable and have

good germination rates for several years. If I kept them at room

temp and humidy they would last til the next year and no longer...

That tells me a little about the value of freezing.
