Guest guest
I have found a local chemical supply comapny that sells peroxide in 5 gallon containers. The price is much better than the prices I find for it on Internet sites. I'm just wondering if it's the same as food grade and if it isn't does it matter? Phil Hi Phil If you find out it is Food Grade, let me know where and how much. Ask them what grade, because there are a few, which will have some additives. Guest guest
I can ask but I don't think they're going to say since that would not be considered by them an appropriate use of the peroxide. I thought the indutrial ones have phosphorus for that purpose but am not sure.Besides this is NJ and we're considered to be children in this state;we have laws against everything! Has anyone else tried peroxide from a chemical supplu co? Phil > I have found a local chemical supply comapny that sells peroxide in 5 > gallon containers. Guest guest
So now I'm wondering if the stuff I bought from a chemical supply company is not food grade? Are there different kinds of 35% made then? Is there such a thing as just industrial and if so what is different? Guest guest
Reagent grade is also 35%. Just a lot more expensive. But for the amount you use, it's not a factor. There are technical/industrial grades used in printed circuit manufacture. I would stick with the food grade or the reagent grade. Guest guest
Ian, I have done the oral h202, and found that it helps short term at least. CS seems to have the same effect. A couple drops of h202 in a glass of CS has an even greater effect. Ozone seems to be the best long term. Possibly a pulsed regiment of all of them is the best. Did you save the URLs for the latter? Somewhere I ran across an explanation of why the problem occurs (some deficiency of some sort), and what you need to take to make sure that the problem won't occur. I didn't save the URL because I have no intention of taking H2O2 internally (since I have an ozone generator). I ran across the info in one of the following three places: The archives for this group: oxyplus The archives for Dr. Pressman's group: ozonetherapy The Oxytherapy website: http://www.oxytherapy.com
Guest guest
GR, the Dr. I'm seeing says doing h202 and IV Vitamin C in the same day is counter productive. Oxygen and an anti-oxidant together at the same time doesn't seem logical, but I'm no expert.
Guest guest
You are right, vit C should be done a while AFTER the H2O2, or ozone. jim alltogethernow@... wrote: > > GR, the Dr. I'm seeing says doing h202 and IV Vitamin C in the same day > is counter productive. Guest guest
Hi Ian, Please do not drink it if it smells! Hydrogen peroxide has no smell what so ever(scientific fact)..but it has an aweful taste and is extremely corrosive! It may have reacted with the packaging material which makes it potentially harzadous... I know this because I'm a scientist as and also use drink it everyday...well, 3X a day! I live in the Uk( London) and have recently purchased a 30kg.(35 aseptic/food grade).Could get you some if you like... Guest guest
Jim, That is so misleading..Hydrogen peroxide is a coulourless, ordouless liquid... I know becase I'm a chemistry lecturer..and have worked with it for several years. Until..recently when I started drinking it I was not aware of its strong bleachy taste which cannot be masked well with almost anything!....Parharps it the taste that ure confusing with smell.... Smell means that when you pour it out of a container it gives off a distinc smell...sensed by your nose..not in the case of Hydrogen peroxide... >From: jlambert@... >Reply-To: oxyplus >To: oxyplus >Subject: Re: hydrogen peroxide >Date: Tue, 09 Oct 2001 00:36:00 -0400 > >Ian, > >Peroxide has its own smell. Guest guest
Maybe my nose is hyper sensitive, but I can smell it. I just went an opened a glass bottle of 35% and smelled it, because I had a memory in my mind of what I thought it smelled like and wanted to see if I my memory was correct. And I can definitely smell it and it, as Jim said, has it's own distinct odor, to me. I believe I could recognize it with a blind fold on. But I do tend to be able to smell things that others can't. Supposedly that is part of adrenal fatigue. Donna -----Original Message----- Jim, That is so misleading..Hydrogen peroxide is a coulourless, ordouless liquid... Guest guest
Hello, My husband used peroxide prior to his surgeries on the advice of his mother. I don't know what his doc would say today. A definite no no in the canal wall down ear, but I don't know about the other ear, which is intact. Anyone else get these instructions? Hi - no one has given me those instructions recently, and not after any of my surgeries (I've used cortisporin otic & polymycin drops after surgery) but years ago (about 20) I had an ENT in New York who always had me use hydrogen peroxide in my ear. It made a heck of a racket! That was back when I was having tubes put in an ear that never outgrew childhood ear infections, years before the cholesteatoma. I have to say I always liked using the peroxide, all that bubbling & fizzing. It really sounded like it was doing something! Today I don't do it, my ENTs never say to & I'd worry a bit about the moisture side of it, when the fizzing is done.
Guest guest
Hydrogen Peroxide is no longer recommended for use on the skin. It kills cells and should NEVER be used topically. LOL ... ask me how I know that! I found out the hard way! pamela
