Guest guest
Jill, the Vitaeris 320 is the model I'm presently using and it's just not quite what we really need. You see, my Lady is incapacitated, can't move by herself so we need to use a lift. This Chamber's zipper opening is not quite long enough. Getting her into the Chamber each time is a very difficult matter for us; takes both of us to get her in and positioned properly. And the cost is way more than I can make one for myself so . . . .. . . . . That's where I am, Obie. _____ From: jill1313 [mailto:jill1313@...] Sent: Wednesday, December 08, 2004 9:02 AM oxyplus Subject: Re: Hydrogen Peroxide Sorry Obie. Guest guest
Dear Obie, It is not likely to be the H2O2, but cut the concentration back to 3% and see if that helps. Best of health! Dr. Saul Pressman --------------------------------------------------------------------------------\ ----------------------- ----Original Message Follows---- From: " Obie " <obie@...> Reply-oxyplus <oxyplus > Subject: Hydrogen Peroxide Date: Sat, 15 Jan 2005 00:10:55 -0600 Dear Dr. Saul: A question about Hydrogen Peroxide, please. Not too long ago you recommended 5% HP for Thrush and, shortly thereafter, I got the idea that that might thin her Phlegm, too. Then, for a couple weeks, when her Phlegm would get thick as glue and is difficult for her to get up and out of the Trach, I've used a garden spray bottle and just spray about 3 sprays right down the Trach. So far, it's worked great and, after 15 to 20 minutes, she is clear and breathes well for 5 to 6 hours without any problems. Then, it starts up again. We've been doing it about twice in 24 hours. Today, she started including a little blood in the Phlegm; just barely pink and one tiny clot-like thingy. Actually, I don't know if it's the HP or if I hurt her somehow when I moved her recently, maybe something else. I know the HP is caustic, thought I was using so little it didn't mean too much but can the HP, even a small amount, over time cause this much irritation, please? Guest guest
Lily, Back in the 80's, when I was in my 20's, I hooked up with a group of people who were practicing preventive and alternative health techniques. Included was the use of what they called " food grade " hydrogen peroxide. I think it was supposed to help deliver more oxygen to the cells. Sorry if that doesn't help much, but that's all I can remember. I didn't stick around long enough to learn more. I got scared and dropped out after a couple of guys followed me out to my car one night asking if I wanted to see their magnets. (Presumably for magnet therapy, but did it have to take place in a dark parking lot?) Kathy
Guest guest
Hi L, Here is an article about the positive uses for Hydrogen peroxide: http://www.angelfire.com/az/sthurston/hydrogen_peroxide.html Not sure if it kills all the good bacteria but maybe while using it, one could take the probiotics or acidolphilus, too??? Someone mentioned that Activia is good to take but I haven't tried that. Guest guest
I have started to use Hydrogen Peroxide a lot. I have inherited gum disease and had gum grafting done to keep my “pearlies” in place J and my dentist recommended rinsing with Hydrogen Peroxide. For years I paid a lot of money to whiten my teeth and ever since rinsing with cheapo Hydrogen Peroxide instead of other mouth rinses, my teeth have been perfectly white. Those expensive and uncomfortable “whitener strips” are such a rip off. I also disinfect my tooth brush with it every day. That stuff is marvelous indeed. After all the dental work one of the teeth got infected and the dentist said she would do a rootcanal. I told her that I didn’t want that and rinsed several times a day a few minutes with Hydrogen Peroxide. The pain went way and it healed nicely. I also started to use the 50 / 50% mix for disinfecting and cleaning, replacing all the toxic commercial cleaning products: http://www.avianweb.com/toxichouseholdtour.html http://www.avianweb.com/sickhousesyndrome.html As far as Activia is concerned. It’s high in sugar (which is bad for you guys) and overpriced for what it is. (There was a product review in one of my Natural Health magazines). I love the taste of it, but after reading the list of ingredients, I decided against it (that was even before I read the review) ... You are better off with yoghurt, kefir or a probiotic / Lactobacillus supplement. http://www.avianweb.com/Lactobacillus.htm (about birds, but the health benefits are not different for us). Guest guest
That is if you use it full strength. In nursing, we used it full strength to clean out wounds. It bubbles and boils all the dead skin out. Sunny > > My dentist says that hydrogen peroxide can cause mouth cancer. Guest guest
Hi Bee. I hope that eveything is going well. I know that you use to recommend taking 35% food grade hydrogen peroxide. Do you still recommend that. I know that I can't/shouldn't take hydrogen peroxide for a while as the die-off symptoms will be to severe, but I just wanted to buy it now because these is a hydrogen peroxide that is on sale. Thank you so much for your help. luv, Preethi
