Guest guest
Hi Bee, Thanks for you help with my last question. Today I have a new one still related to Vit C. My local co-op sells organic rosehips in the bulk food section. Could I possibly take just the rosehips for the Vit. C or even rosehips and absorbic acid? This would be instead of the supplements in tablet form. Reason I ask and I know you'll respect this is I want to go as completely natural as possible. But if this is not a possiblity and disrupts, I understand. I am on board with you. Thanks for your help CASEY!
Guest guest
I've tried rose hips and it seems to somewhat feed the candida. If I recall it has some type of sugar(fructose)? in it. Very minimal amount but still has some. I know it has 5% pectin in it. Candida seems to like pectin as its caused some bloating with me in the past. Your best bet is probably just vitamin C powder with nothing added. I only do small amounts of vitamin C occasionally. I do 12 grams at one time if I need to flush toxins out in a hurry-10-12 grams seems to be the number that reaches bowel tolerance(diarrhea). I could not do large doses for periods of time as it upset my Intestinal tract. Vitamin C can be beneficial, but is still a chemical. Chemicals in " large doses " for long periods of time can cause imbalances. I've heard large doses of Vitamin C can interfere with copper levels.
