Guest guest
Sounds like if I get the capsules of cal citrate and mag citrate then I would be taking 500 mg at a time and then maybe opening the capsule and adding another 100 mg. Is it easier to take the powder? How would I measure out 300 mg at a time? I have a scale that measure is grams, but not milligrams. Thanks! Measuring out powder depends upon the serving size on the label. For example: NOW Foods Magnesium Citrate Powder is a serving size of 1 teaspoon for 3.7 grams or 630 mg of magnesium. I don't think you can weigh it on a scale to get the correct amount but I could be wrong. You would measure out 1/2 teaspoon for each dose = 315 mg which is close enough. It is okay to get a little bit more magnesium than calcium anyway. Bee
