You can heat the water from your Britta filter. Bee
Guest guest
Hi Bee, concerning the Egg Drink, I have major, I guess you call them, healing reactions to eggs, butter, (and have had for at least 20 years) and to a much lesser extent coconut oil, From your instructions I think you're saying one with my situation should start out with 1 tsp of an egg, 1 tsp of butter and 1 tsp of coconut oil in 2 1/2 cups of h2o, et cetera. I think that is going to be very debilitating to me. And I do need to work, so maybe in my case I should start with 1/4 tsp.? And if that's a problem, which I suspect it will be, what do you suggest? thank you Patty
Guest guest
I see your instructions say to use other fats such as lard or tallow. And if I only use one type of fat instead of two, should that one fat ultimately equal the amounts you suggest for the butter and coco. oil combined? And while I'm just using miniscule amounts of fat with the miniscule amount of egg do I decrease the amount of water? thank you, Patty From: beesgirl9 <beesgirl9@...> Subject: [ ] Bee's Egg Drink Date: Thursday, May 12, 2011, 11:34 AM Hi Bee, concerning the Egg Drink, I have major, I guess you call them, healing reactions to eggs, butter, (and have had for at least 20 years) and to a much lesser extent coconut oil, From your instructions I think you're saying one with my situation should start out with 1 tsp of an egg, 1 tsp of butter and 1 tsp of coconut oil in 2 1/2 cups of h2o, et cetera. Yesterday I was working on revising an important article, and some of the moderators were not available, however I am on the group every morning so all messages are answered within 24 hours. You need to take time to increase all good fats since they all create more healing and detoxifying symptoms. Tallow is the kind of fats in meats like beef, and it doesn't taste very good using it separately. One lady made the mistake of buying a lot of it and found it was very bad tasting, so it should only be used in making soap. Otherwise fitday.com does calculate the fats and protein in meats and eggs when you enter them as instructed. You should not substitute other kinds of fats for butter and coconut oil since each fat contains unique important nutrients with butter and unrefined coconut oil as most important. Your goal is to slowly increase the fats I recommend until you are able to take enough to meet your fat ratios. In the meantime you should slowly decrease your carbs (all plant foods) and not increase your protein too much until you can consume enough fats as explained in Curing Candida, How to Get Started: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro1.php However, when you enter your foods into fitday.com to determine the quantities you need to eat to match your ratios, you need to enter all fats you consume, including cod liver oil or fish oil, lard used in cooking (although not all of the fat will be absorbed into the foods), extra virgin olive oil, etc. - here's the article you need to calculate your food ratios and enter foods into fitday.com: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/foods8.php http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/foods9.php All the best, Bee
