I hardly have any time to post anymore..even read. I have been busy working a ton. Thankfully, my dd is doing OK. Except that her knee has gotten a bit swollen again. Last year it was really swollen. We ruled out an orthopedic issue and a rheumatological problem. It did go away, but was drained and she was on meds. No known injury. Well, ............... Hi - My friend's daughter had a sore on her arm and had severe hip pain with lots of swelling, a high fever and was very sick. She was hospitalized and was found to have MSRA (methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus) which is a drug resistant staph infection. They treated her with a specific antibiotic and she recovered. Her sister was found to have it too. They think if this staph gets into a wound, it can cause this problem. I wonder if that's what the physician is talking about? I don't want to alarm you, but her infection could have been life threatening. When you mentioned your dd's symptoms, it sounded a lot like my friend's daughter. Guest guest
No, thank you! I'm glad I came across your group. I've used your invention on several different occasions. I'm a massage therapist without health insurance and my wife is an herbalist. I'm always open to new and alternative ideas. Everything I've read in the group seems to indicate it's effectiveness. Keep up the excellent work. Rick Re: strep cool, thanks for the report, I will file to our files. bG > > My wife's got strep throat. We didn't realize it until today. Guest guest
Just to report, I think my strep is getting worse. I can feel the infection starting to make its way up to my ears. I havnt had a culture test to comfirm that it is strep but with the white patches at the back of my throat and the INTENSE pain every time I swallow I presume it is. Plus my glands around my neck and under my chin have never been as swollen as they are now... they are BIG! Hope to hear some ideas soon on how I can over this even though it is probably die-off. Ive used the 4000mg megadose of Vit C (then 1000mg every hour after). Im gargling warm salt water. And nearly finished cooking a nice chicken broth for myself. Any thoughts? Regards, Rick > > Hey everyone. I suffering from a really bad case up strep. My glands are swelled up like never before and the pain of swallowing is excruciating. If you have your body will retrace it while it is healing itself as explained in this article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/heal10.php It will retrace each and every separate episode you had before. It is totally false that not getting instant treatment for it leads to other serious issues. Your own body creates strep in order to clean out toxins and if left alone Nature does the best job of healing without treatments, since Nature is doing its job! Of course taking antibiotics only adds to the problem, rather than helping it, because they suppress the symptoms and add more poisons to your body that it has to deal get rid of. If you haven't had similar symptoms before starting on this program and this is new for you, remember that your body is creating it for very good reasons. In any case, you can do treatments to lessen the pain and help your body heal itself - see Cold, Cough & Flu Treatments article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/colds.php Also do things that improve your body's ability to detoxify itself: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/detox.php For pain take white willow bark capsules available at the health store and take them according to instructions on the label. I hope that helps. Bee
Guest guest
> > I hope you feel better soon. Keep me posted, eh? > > The best to you, Bee > Ok Bee, it looks like Im about 90-95% through this sore/strep throat. I read a couple of posts by ly who said his partner used ACV when she had a sore throat and it helped her. Well, I gargled ACV myself and it INSTANTLY made a dramatic shift for the positive. WOW!!! I couldnt believe how relieving it was. It helped the swelling go down. It assisted reducing and eliminating the white patches in the throat...and the best part is that the pain greatly subsided! Amazing! Im at the last of it now. It is so great to swallow and not wince and feel razor blades in my throat. Im eating solid food again! Grass fed beef...YUM! Thanks for you help Bee, Rick
