Since according to your calculations > it will take at least 30 months of healing for me, > > does one feel better as time goes on or in other words, > the whole 30 months should I expect to feel these very strong detox symptoms? +++Hi Patty, You do feel better as time goes on, but detoxifying and healing symptoms will come and go, so your good days will increase and your bad days will decrease. Symptoms and reactions while you are healing will be the same kinds you experienced as your body was becoming more and more unhealthy, since getting healthy reverses disease processes. However, that process takes 1 month for every year. For example, if you had digestive issues for 10 years it takes 10 months of healing to begin healing it and more time to heal the issues that led up to getting digestive problems that could have started 1-2 years before or longer. In fact ALL disease processes are exactly the same as healing and detoxifying processes created by the body itself in an effort to maintain its health, in spite of poor nutrition, toxins, etc. As Taubes writes in his book Good Calories, Bad Calories, p. 142: " . . .the fundamental feature of all living organisms is the interdependence of the parts of the body to the whole . . . " " . . .all physiological systems [body processes] have to work together to assure survival. " " . . all of the vital mechanisms [processes], however varied they may be, have only one object, that of preserving constant the conditions of life in the internal environment. " However, the medical industry labels each and every " sign " of poor health as separate dis-eases, illnesses, symptoms, syndromes, malfunctions, etc. which are actually normal body reactions and processes. In other words, they are simply " signs " the body is attempting to restore its own balance. As Florence Nightengale, the famous nurse, says: " There are no specific diseases; there are [only] specific disease conditions. " People on this healthy program are giving their bodies what they need to become healthy, so they are now able to progress towards health rather than become more and more unhealthy, or dis-eased. Guest guest
There is a great list of detox symptoms here. http://www.breastcancerchoices.org/bromidedetoxsymptomsandstrategies.html I have done just what you are asking. Started at 50 mgs and increased until I felt a detox which for me was 100 mgs. Then I pulse dosed (5 days on 2 days off) until I could tolerate 7 full days on. Some have also used a protocol of painting the breasts with iodine and adding progesterone cream as well. For some reason it seems to pull iodine into the breasts more effectively. Buist, ND HC Detox Symptoms Hi, This group is really amazing! I am 53 years old with fibroids and recently had a positive breast thermography. Over the past couple of weeks I have built up to 50 mgs of lugols daily. I am also taking selenium and magnesium. I am not sure what the detox signs I should be looking for? Should I keep increasing my dose until I detox? Thanks
