Guest guest
My 8 year old has developed seasonal allergies (watery, itchy, red swollen eyes, stuffy, runny nose). Is there anything I can do for relief. Especially for her eyes they look really bad and it's quite uncomfortable for her. She's on the program and has never had this before. Thanks Colleen
Guest guest
> > Hi Bee > She only gets these symptoms when she goes outside in grassy or wooded area. If she stays indoor she's fine. Should I still treat it as I would a cold? +++Hi Colleen, Her body is better able to detoxify itself so she is also detoxifying substances in the air she wouldn't react to otherwise. That's a good thing since it means her body is working better. The cold treatments will help, and you could also do some of the Detoxifying treatments: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/detox.php But she will still get those symptoms until her body finishes detoxifying, so treatments assist, but do not cure. Guest guest
Bee She gets the now vit. tablet. How long do I give her the 1,0000 mg per hour? ( still no loose bowel) I was thinking until her symptoms subside but her symptoms only occur if she goes outside. Thanks Colleen > > > > > > Bee > > I started her on 4000 vit c then 1000 every hour she still has no loose bowel just tummy ache. Do I continue with 1000 every hour along with the other supplements as well? > > +++Hi Colleen. Are you giving her capsules or tablets, or is it ascorbic acid crystals mixed in water? Ascorbic acid crystals can cause a tummy ache, so that's why capsules or tablets are better when taken every hour or two. Ascorbic acid crystals should be with foods, like an egg, or at meal times. > > It should help her with the cold symptoms at 1,000 mg every hour, so you do not have to increase it. > > Yes, all supplements, including usual vitamin C dose (the treatment is extra), are taken with complete meals. > > Bee >

Do not be concerned she doesn't get loose stools since the extra vitamin C is still helping her. Extra vitamin C assists her body but it does not stop or cure her symptoms. Her healing occurs gradually because of the combination of nutrients in the foods and supplements on this program. Healing takes time and patience and there are no quick fixes like doctors do, which we know does not work. All the best, Bee
