Foods from plants that contain saturated fat include coconut, coconut oil, palm oil and palm kernel oil (often called tropical oils), and cocoa butter. Cod liver oil contains omega 3, which is an essential fatty acid - essential means our bodies cannot make it, along with vitamin A and D. Read this so you understand more about all fats - The Skinny on Fats by the Weston A. Price Foundation: http://www.westonaprice.org/know-your-fats/526-skinny-on-fats.html All of the fats work on 2 pathways in the body, and if any are missing, or too high or too low, as is the case with most people getting too much omega 6, it interferes with the body's ability to utilize its fats. Of course all fats work with all other nutrients so that's why this complete program works. Bee
