Guest guest
Hello All~ I just joined this group this evening after I was doing a research on the internet on gallstones. My fiancee' has been diagnosed with a gall bladder full of gallstones. He has for the past three days been in lots of pain and discomfort. He has been drinking olive oil and lemon juice before bed and when he gets up. It relieves some, but today when he came home from work for lunch, he was filling worse. If there is anyone out there who can help me with some ideas, on how to pass these stones without surgery I would greatly appreciate it. He was scheduled to have surgery last August to have the gall bladder removed, but he canceled it. I am not really sure why he will not go through the surgery, I think a lot is fear and some is the outcome after the surgery. Thanks for your time. Sincerely, Angie
Guest guest
Angie, welcome to the group and good luck with your guy. None of us here can tell him what to do but we can say what we've done that worked for us. Each person has to chose their own path and accept the consequences. The non-surgery path is my choice but it sure ain't easy. When IN CRISIS, like he is now, I've had the best luck with the following: 1) FASTING is always a good idea whenever there is pain or symptoms 2) EPSOM SALT relaxes the bile duct for stone passage 3) EXERCISE, like walking or swimming, helps 4) CASTOR OIL HOT PACKS really reduce pain and inflammation 5) DEEP BREATHING, you can breathe your way out of an attack 6) RESCUE REMEDY this helps with the emotions, especially worry & fear. (dig through the previous posts over the last 2 months and you will find all the details for these 6 ideas, also look at the curezone for more information) Meanwhile, he will want to start modifying his diet, perhaps lose weight, look into stress management, start some herbs, vitamins, enzymes and other nutriceuticals, as well as many other techniques. There are 100's of websites explaining all this. Search under " Gallstones, alternatives to surgery " . Avoid telling family and squares what you are doing as they will really do their best to ruin your day, you'll have to listen to all their non-sequitor horror stories. I would highly recommend finding a good holistic doctor (try chiropractors, naturopaths and osteopaths in general) and sticking with this person as you go. You must find someone who believes in this and who has done it before. 99% of the MDs will think you are insane for trying this because they have had no experience doing it, plus they have a bad attitude. I would personally recommend working with a Traditional Chinese Medicine doctor from Day One. Will in MInneapolis
