I've filled out my application for the phytopharmocognosy discussion group of

Dr Wilkerson but haven't heard back yet. It sounds interesting though.

There was one additional form I missed last Friday when I applied so I just

sent that in today. Most people can " monitor " the group but you need to be

approved as somewhat of a " peer " to be able to post.

Turns out the good doc IS a master herbologist and gives intensive seminars

on MEDICINAL MUSHROOMS. He is the go-to guy in the UK. I'll actually be

surprised if the GB cure he used is grocery store white button 'shrooms but I

expect to find out soon. Incidentally, this group of doctors are coming from

the point of view of SCIENTIFICALLY figuring out how herbs work, isolating

" active ingredient " , assaying concentrations of levels, etc. I prefer other

forms of herbal medicine (science is NOT my religion) and these people

haven't a clue about the " energetics " of plants, but I guess we need all kinds.

Scientists would grind up a Rolex in a blender, and then seperate out all the

different metal, glass and plastic percentages to try to understand how

watches work.

Thanks for the tip on the holistic vet website. I checked it out with a pretty

quick scan and, even though I haven't heard of this rather new guy, I found

his site to sound pretty reputable. I never thought of it when I was in practice

but the notion of SELLING STUFF is a great way to make a real living. It's

almost impossible to make an honest living, and keep a hospital going just by

selling your professional time. Even if you see 8 patients a day for say

$100/hr each (and most of them will think that you are an outrageously

expensive rip-off!) it won't even touch the fixed overhead. My modest holistic

vet hospital and modest staff ran about $3K a day overhead. That's why the

vet profession, in my opinion, is so corrupt today. Oh, well, don't get me going

on that!

This aspect of taking ROSEMARY for the GB as described int the

gemmotherapy texts is intriguing Another NEW LEAD!. Clearly those of us in

this group are all out on the frontier of GB healing. Groping, slowly, blindly

trying to find what we all need to be whole and healthy. THERE IS NO MAP

TO THE HIDDEN TREASURE, but plenty of side detours, land mines and

deadends.

Best wishes to all,

Will in Minneapolis
