Guest guest
, that's extremely impressive results. Thanks so much for taking the time to write us. Rhoda Last week I found myself coming down with what appeared to be the swine flu (symptoms: stomach cramps, frequent loose bowel movements, headache, muscle aches, sore throat, sudden high fever of 101 degrees F.) Guest guest
Wow--I'm very surprised your grandchildren weren't offered Tamiflu. Your story is a good reminder that " doing nothing " is actually doing something very beneficial--and giving fluids is not doing nothing anyway. It's one of the best things you can do besides rest. I sympathize with your bedridden days with the flu. I have been flat on my back, too. It's pretty miserable but homeopathy can really help you through, too. Guest guest
Thanks for sharing . Wow those are high fevers....were they also chilly? Sweaty? Interesting story, and wonderful your homeopath helped! So here it's vomiting and sore throat included compared to the person with confirmed case on here. You're so right, getting physically *and* emotionally/mentally healthy is a huge key in having a strong system and be able to handle these things. The oldest was mildly sick but recovered quickly. The 2 smaller ones we ended up taking to the ER because the fevers were 105+ and tylenol and motrin did nothing to bring it down any. The doctor there, did a nasal swab test and confirmed they had the flu.. ( Surprisingly, he did not say swine flu as it was just around the time it hit the news from mexico ) They were given a dose of tylenol and motrin mixed together and both of their fevers still went up one, a whole degree and the other a 1/2 degree. I had never seen motrin and tylenol not phase a temperature like that. We were told by the ER doc that that was a tell tell sign of the flu. He said it was relentless and their was basically nothing they could do but for us to keep given fluids. They were well in a couple of days. > > In 2004- I was sick and could not get out of bed for 10 striaght days. I am pretty sure I did go to the doctor because I remember having a work excuse.. It was the worse sickness I have ever had. I did not know until 2 years later when I had my first experience with a homeopath doctor who asked me if I had a bad illness during the summer of 2004. I had to think about it for only a few minutes because even though I got well, It took me a very long time to be back to normal self. he said he could tell I had been exposed to the Influenza B virus. I had come to him in the first place because I had experienced ear pain for 1.5 years....hum..right after I had the sickness. He told me that the flu B had left some little traces of itself and attached to some systems and organs in my body. He was able to cure me from my ear pain I suffered with for a year and a half. As a matter of fact, when I walked out of his house, not only did I not have an ear ache but I > felt like I was a teenager. As someone who has had a flu and seen my grandchildren so ill, I can tell you that it is a very very bad illness and it could possibly do lingering harm to those not doing all they can to be heathly. > I personaly would rather have all the flus combined than to receive a vaccine for it, but i would have never thought that my flu was the cause of me having so many health problems after the flu symptoms went away. All flu and colds are detoxification, so to help get through them a person should do things that help the detoxifying processes, and lessen the energy drain on their body. An all liquid and pureed foods diet helps a lot because it decreases the energy required for digestion. For any respiratory issue it is important to have enough moisture in the air. Other things include Epsom salt baths, clear water or coffee enemas, dry skin brushing, deep breathing exercises, resting, avoiding stresses, etc. Bee
