Guest guest
This is interesting. As a Diabetic on insulin I have noticed that gradually my body doesn't seem to be responding to the insulin as well as it was. I have tried not having any but even on the low-carb regime my blood sugar will gradually creep up over a few days. The fact that my weight is very slowly creeping up does suggest that there is too much insulin floating around somewhere. Mind you, I have had a LOT of crud clearing out of my liver/pancreas/spleen etc., over the last three weeks and that inevitably may well have released quite a bit of fat into my blood stream. Presumably my body will deal with it in time but I am not quite sure what to do about it in the meantime. Whereas before going low-carb I used to have to have at least 40 units a day I have been able to drop my insulin need to 10 - 15 units per day on low-carb, and taking that before my main meal in the early evening was usually enough to keep me in or around normal range, but now, although I am having some insulin twice a day (typically 8 with my lunch + 12/14 with my dinner), my sugar levels are well over normal (8.5mmol/l - 153 dg/l this morning - normal range is between 3.5 and 5.5mmol). I don't know what to do to get through this until the fats have been dispersed, or what I can do to help my body clear them from my bloodstream. It is obviously not good to have either too much insulin or too much sugar floating around my body. Ali. > > Anyone hear of his program or his secret candida cleaner? Just curious what he came up with out of his rabbit hat > He and some others claim that if too much fat is in the bloodstream it coats the blood sugar molecule along with insulin, making it hard for the insulin to link up with the sugar. Thus raising insulin in the bloodstream? > ----Maybe they are referring to bad fats/oils---in the blood--- > www.foreverhealthyandyoung.com > >

Would you please provide the link to articles that discuss it so I can evaluate them. Also, I hope you know I don't recommend any kind of cleanser, let alone a candida cleanser, so bringing them up or discussing them isn't acceptable on this group - see this: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/clean1.php Bee

You do not know whether it is true or not. Bee
Guest guest
You are right Bee, but it does seem to be a bit of a coincidence that my blood sugars have become less controllable since my liver/pancreas started clearing out these last three weeks. I do not feel for one minute that under normal circumstances your diet would necessarily drive any insulin resistance - certainly in the 9 months I have been on it, I have been able to keep my insulin use at pretty low levels until now. But with all these weird things going on in the three weeks since I started the coffee enemas, and the feelings I am getting of a lot of stuff clearing out of my liver and pancreas and working across my back and down my right side through my tubes, I can only assume that there is quite a lot of crud floating around my bloodstream at the moment. Up till I started the CEs my blood sugar was pretty stable. I wasn't having to take any Metformin because I did not appear to have too much insulin resistance any more, but it looks as though I may need to take some again just to get me through this period. It will not do me any good to have either my insulin or my sugar levels elevated for any length of time. My normal dose would be around 10 -12 mmol before my evening meal and that usually would put me into normal range by bedtime, but even though I am now up to 20 mmol split into two doses, my blood sugar was 8.5 last night and still up there this morning, which is way too high. I have to say though that the fact that my weight has been very slowly creeping up over the last few weeks, after having been fairly stable for some time does suggest that I may have more insulin floating around than I should have. Other than taking the Metformin I don't know how to get the insulin working properly. I realise this is probably temporary until the fats have cleared from my system, but I need to do what I can to get through it safely. I may try foregoing the insulin and just trying the Metformin instead, as taking more insulin if I already have too much is not going to help. Ali. > > > > This is interesting. " I think I've referred you to that article before. Bee
