Guest guest
Hi Bee and All, Can I eat a classic steak tartare, carpacchio or ceviche? I read on Bee's website that meat cooked low and slow is best as I have been doing for 14 months now. However steak tartare is simply devine. Is it damaging/not useful to eat raw meat? I can't seem to find a consensus on this after reading Nourishing Traditions and Nutrition and Physical Degeneration. It is clear that native people ate raw meat but only when they did not have the resources to do so. Would the cell walls of the raw meat open in the presence of stomach juices for nutrients to be made useful? Many thanks, , UK
