Guest guest
Happy New Year to all of you - I hope this year finds you all in better health and progressing on the road to recovery from candida I have a few problems, and I need your help in the worst way as I feel like I must start back at square one now. A few months ago I posted here about a mysterious rash (that lasted 4 months) on my face and was told that rashes can be the bi-product of toxins leaving my body. Unfortunately, this turned out to NOT be the case and what started as a simple blemish turned into cellulitis as confirmed by pathology and lab results. The only treatment for it was high-dose antibiotics (it has spread down deep into the other layers of my skin) and therefore I spent 2 months on a double dose of Bactrim, Erythromycin and an antibiotic ointment I had to use on the area 3 times a day. Thankfully about 6 weeks ago, the rash cleared up, right about the time I finished all the antiobiotics and I only have minimal scarring. My doctor is still not sure what happened or how the rash turned into cellulitis, but it was bad and it could have turned into MRSA or sepsis, which is what happened to my father and he was dead 2 months later. Anyway - since that time, starting about 3 weeks ago, I began to develop the " normal " sinus/nasal issues that I get every year around the holidays. I invested in a neti pot at that time to naturally just cleanse my sinuses so I wouldn't have to take anymore antibiotics, but unfortunately, it didn't work and what was a sinus infection, turned into bronchitis. I could not fight off the ailment on my own and you guessed it....I just finished 10 days of Levaquin, 500 mg AND a steroid nose spray (Flonase) and I DON'T FEEL ANY BETTER! I still can't breathe out of my nose although the coughing and bringing up " stuff " has quit, but I still spike a fever during the night. I fear I have totally ruined the work I had begun earlier in the year and the only saving grace is the fact that I continued with everything Bee has talked about - supplements, lots of water, change of diet, etc. My doctor told me to eat yogurt or take a probiotic supplement to get my digestive tract back in order and I am inclined to listen to her, since she was finally the one who got the whole rash thing diagnosed before it turned worse. My dermatologist was doing nothing except trying to sell me skin cream. What else can I do to get things back on track? I feel awful right now with this sinus infection and not sure what I can do to kick it
