Guest guest
Hi Bee HCl vs. homemade fermented sauerkraut: Would fermented homemade cabbage juice be an equal substitute to the fermented sauerkraut? And are there any more benefits or is there any more efficacy in relation to HCl or fermented sauerkraut? thank you, Patty :-) A

I've been finding out more and more about fermented foods, and IF the cabbage isn't fermented long enough to break down the fibers (cell walls) they can still be a problem for people, as explained in this article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/veg3.php In my opinion Rejuvelac would be better than either sauerkraut or HCl supplements, but cabbage that is cooked long enough would help just as well. All the best, Bee
