Guest guest
Coffee enemas may provide some good benefits. A couple things to keep in mind. Coffee enemas contribute to the alkalinity of the colon, not good for recolonizing with the good bacteria. Also, too frequent use of coffee enemas can deplete potassium from the body. The veins of the anus are very close to the surface of the tissue. The caffeine is therefore absorbed more quickly (and in a higher concentration) than it is in when coffee is drunk. The coffee is absorbed into the hemorrhoidal vein (in the anus), and then it is taken up to the liver by the portal vein. " You could also skim back thru the archives (using, perhaps, " coffee enema " in the search engine) to see what Bee has said recently about it. Bee should be back online in the morning and could answer your question better than I. To your health! began 03/09/
Guest guest
Hi Bee, I did 2 coffee enema's after a clear water enema (one after the other as instructed on your info.sheet). I could not hold the coffee enemas for longer than 5 mins...instead of 12-15mins...why do you think that was? Also I had a terrible nights sleep....firstly couldn't get to sleep..then nightmares and then waking up every 15-30 mins during the night...could the coffee enema have something to do with that...or is it just that toxins were flying around? Thanks Bee,
