Hi Bee,

Thank you for your response about the flu symptoms.

A couple questions:

I. Do you have a source where you can buy Lard. The Lard at the local grocery

store has been

hydrogenated. I can't find anything at Whole Foods.

2.I found unsweetened organic almond milk and I use it as creamer in my decaf

coffee. Is that ok? What about half and half if your on the Candida diet.

Thank you,

Janet

+++Hi Janet,

It is important that any treatments to assist a person during the flu do not

interfere with nutrients, so no I wouldn't recommend taking any other vitamins,

nutrients or even more cod liver oil, except for extra vitamin C.

All flu and colds are detoxification, so to help get through them a person

should do things that help the detoxifying processes, and lessen the energy

drain on their body. An all liquid and pureed foods diet helps a lot because it

decreases the energy required for digestion.

For any respiratory issue it is important to have enough moisture in the air.

Other things include Epsom salt baths, clear water or coffee enemas, dry skin

brushing, deep breathing exercises, resting, avoiding stresses, etc.

+++Hi Janet,

1) I cannot buy lard here in Ontario, Canada. If I wanted it I'd have to make it

myself from slabs of pork fat, which are also difficult to buy - here's how you

make lard:

2) Almond milk, like any other kinds of milk substitutes on the market, contains

unnatural fats (read the label), so you shouldn't use it. Why don't you make my

Fake Cream recipe for your decaf coffee instead? Here's the recipe:

All the best, Bee
