Meniscus Cartilage Pain

Hi Bee,

I got my MRI today and just got the results back. They didn't find a meniscus

tear but they found meniscus abnormalities/damage but again not necessarily a

tear. Because of that they don't think I'll need surgery.

My question is...do you think the pain I'm having could be toxins? I guess I'm

just frustrated because I almost wanted the surgery to fix the injury so the

pain would go away. Now I don't know what to do. They want to give me a

cortisone shot which I won't do...otherwise I may try physical therapy but just

not sure if that would be helpful for cartilage pain. Any thoughts? I have never

had a knee injury in the past so I know it's not retracing. I've had this pain

for over 2 months. My left knee hurts also but just not as bad.

I try to stay off of it but still walk 30min each day (about 2.5 miles) just to

help my body detox. Do you think I'm causing my body more stress by walking on

it?

Anyway...just wanted to get your thoughts as I don't know what to do now.

Thanks for all your help as always!

+++Hi . I'm not a doctor so I do not know what meniscus is. In future

please explain it in layman's terms or provide a simple definition. Thanks.

+++I think it is caused by toxins, so staying off it won't help since some

movement helps mobilize the toxins so your body can get rid of them. Also do

other things that help your body detoxify:

But as always, it is very important to follow the program carefully, and not

cheat.

###Sorry...here's the definition I found online. It's the inside of my knee that

hurts.

###Each knee joint has two crescent-shaped cartilage menisci. These lie on the

medial (inside) and lateral (outside) of the upper surface of the tibia (shin)

bone. They are essential components of the knee, acting as shock absorbers as

well as allowing for the proper interaction and weight distribution between the

tibia and the femur (thigh bone). As a result, injury to either meniscus can

lead to critical impairment of the knee itself.

movement helps mobilize the toxins so your body can get rid of them. Also do

###Ok, thanks. I will continue to walk on it and do other things to help my body

detox.

cheat.

###I haven't cheated at all recently and take all my supplements which I know is

helping.
