Guest guest
Bee, thanks for coaching me through this difficult bit- I was beginning to lose hope I guess, and when that happens, it's easier to fall off the wagon and then just feel guilty and a failure. You were absolutely right about the fat... I also realised I was still eating too many veggies, and after putting my diet into fit-day I realised that although all my veg was low-carb, there was just too much of it, and I was using those to fill up, therefore perpetuating the hunger/cravings. So, I calculated my upper fat ratio, which is 255g- equivalent to a whole block of butter! And I have taken to it with gusto- and am now meeting it easily and feeling so much less hungry! I guess I just didn't quite believe I could eat more fat than I was already. The acid reflux went, as I didn't need the nuts... and then, hey presto- one morning I hit the nuts again, and the reflux reappeared. Those nuts are tasty, but obviously completely indigestible! I'm going to be putting them at the back of the cupboard for now on. Thanks again. > +++You will get hunger pangs until you are meeting your ratios consistently enough as noted above. Your pre-menstrual issues will subside when you are consistently on this program long enough like they have for many women since this program helps your body balance out its hormones. > >

It is important to not go over your carb ratio per day. If I were you I'd discard those nuts, since healthy people are difficulty digesting them too, unless they are cooked long enough after soaking them. What size was the block of butter? Fitday.com says 1 lb = 367.9 grams of fat, and 1/2 pound = 183 grams of fat. Remember butter isn't the only fat you need to have, since unrefined coconut oil is also important, along with entering your cod liver oil. Also their are fats connected with all meats that will show up on fitday when you enter them. All the best, Bee
