Guest guest
Dear Bee & friends, I'm a native English speaker recently relocated to Sweden. Just starting out on the Candida diet. Swedish customs tax online purchases from America by a lot, especially foodstuff. I'm wondering if anyone here knows EU site/sites where I can order essentials for the candida diet, e.g. Celtic Sea Salt, Nutiva, and all supplements. I'm also wondering if there are European/Scandinavian brands of the same products approved by Bee. For example, a Scandinavian/European equivalent of Nutiva, et al. Thanks lots, any help much appreciated! Sun

Guest guest
Hi Sun, I'm in Sweden and buy my coconut oil from this site: http://www.lchfbutiken.se/ Look under: Bra fett. I buy all my supplements through Bee's site from iHerb. I buy them in small amounts (under $40US per order) so I don't get charged customs. That usually means that I make 3 separate orders to get all my supplements, but since the shipping is only $4 per box, it's still cheaper than buying them from any other place I've found. Not only that, but most of the vitamins in Sweden contain sugar, often as the first ingredient. Don't waste your money on those! I don't know how close you are to the Finnish boarder, but you can't buy cod liver in Sweden either, so I drive to Finland to get it. Hope that helps! Guest guest
Hi , thanks so much for your advice! It is totally useful for a newbie to Sweden like me. e.g. I would never know that I can order less than USD40 of supplements from the US without paying custom taxes. Does the USD40 limit include shipping cost? Does it apply to all kinds of consumer goods? e.g. I am thinking of ordering the PUR water filter http://www.amazon.com/PUR-CR-6000-2-Stage-Oval-Shaped-Water-Filtration/dp/B000QR\ DMY8/ref=pd_sbs_k_1 which is not available in amazon.uk (another misconception, i thought only online purchase from EU countries escape custom tax), but am not sure how much I will be taxed. Thanks for the tip about sugar-tainted Swedish vitamins. I shall stay away from them. I am in Malmö by the way, would be good to know people around here who practice Bee's diet. Wow, if you can drive to Finland to buy cod liver oil, you must be pretty up north... By the way, what is Bee's word on this brand of Celtic Sea Salt that claims to have 92 minerals and trace elements? http://www.seventhwavesupplements.com/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=105 & idproduct=94\ & gclid=CMG68PHXhakCFcSCDgodOg9EjA I found a really cheap source here: http://www.melburyandappleton.co.uk/le-guerandais-gros-sel-guerande-3098-p.asp It'll be great if it's under the accepted brands. And as for meat, is anything labelled ekologisk acceptable for Bee's diet? Sorry to bug you with all these questions. It is literally my 5th day here. Thanks loads and healthy eating! Guest guest
Hi Sun, I'm pretty sure that amount is on any sort of consumer goods, however, I buy other things from the UK for more than 40USD and don't get charged import duty on them. I think if it comes from Europe you're okay. The salt you found looks pretty good. 90 minerals is what you want. I think you should go ahead and order it. The ekologisk or krav meat is good, but as Bee says, it's not necessary to buy organic meat in order to get healthy. I feel that organic eggs are more important if you have to make a choice for financial reasons. Check for eggs that are krav and frigående utomhus. Some of them will say frigående inomhus which means that they are allowed to move around, but don't get outside. It's better if they can get outside so they can eat worms and bugs, etc. Also, check to see if you can buy älg which is wild, so it's very healthy to eat as well. Good luck!
