Well, that explains why there is niacin in my shampoo.  Abrey Sampoo,

" Jojoba " .

I was wondering about that.  Thanks for being curious and asking out loud.

Subject: [ ] Liquid niacin used topically?

Hi All,

I once had a healthcare provider tell me that, when applied topically, niacin

has been proven to help increase the rate of hair growth since it increases

blood circulation to the scalp. As hair loss is a concern for me, I was

wondering if there was any truth to this, or if any harm could be done by

applying niacin topically to the scalp.

Thanks!

+++Hi ,

Applying niacin to your scalp will not cause any harm, so go for it. Let us

know what you think of it.

Okay, I will give it a try, and report back in a couple of months!
