Guest guest
Hi Nichole, Do you have pounding or throbbing pain in your tooth? That is usually indicative of needing a root canal. Unless there was a direct trauma to the tooth, many root canals are 'needed' because the tooth has had a deep cavity that has now gone into the root. Bee generally recommends the tooth be pulled and you get a bridge. Bee does recommend oil pulling, but only use coconut oil or olive oil to do it. Group Moderator > > Hello Bee, > > I'm 4 1/2 months pregnant and I've been doing your diet with the supplements for a while and have seen much improvement in many symptoms. Sometimes I'll get weird stuff happening that I've never had happen. Once, I got a toenail fungus that made just one toe look gnarly and gross but it cleared up. Another time I had a weird skin patch of redness that itched on my shin and that's clearing up and now I have what seems to be something wrong with either my gums or one of my teeth on the upper right side. I'm hoping it has more to do with detox affecting the sinus cavities but due to my pregnancy I felt it was important to get it checked out by a dentist so I'm going in tomorrow. It doesn't hurt when I eat on that side nor does it hurt all day. I sleep soundly and then a few hours into my day it starts up again. My concern is that they will tell me I need a root canal even though I've never even had a cavity in my life and my gums are a healthy pink with no bleeding. Nothing looks out of the ordinary with my teeth. > > I've read headlines about the dangers of root canals but I've never read full articles because it didn't pertain to me. Are there any remedies I could try to get rid of it? What do I do if they tell me I need a root canal? > > Have you ever heard of oil pulling? What are your thoughts on that? > > Thank You, > > Nichole >

What are your thoughts on that? +++Hi , Your mouth, like any other areas of your body has had many toxins it needs to get rid of, and also has had past injuries it needs to heal, so having some inflammation or even an infection in your gum is nothing to be concerned about. Your own body creates inflammation and infection, as needed, in order to detoxify and repair itself. So what is happening in your gum is a normal body process, for whatever reason. If you leave it alone it will clear up on its own. You can do treatments, however they won't help much until your body has finished what it needs to do in that area. You could do oil pulling like advised, or just do strong salt water rinses a couple of times a day. All the best, Bee
Guest guest
I have been doing oil pulling for over a year and TO MY KNOWLEDGE I never benefited from it --- not until I added a few drops of oregano oil to my tablespoon of coconut oil. From the day I began doing this, I've had no teeth sensitivity or pain. It's been a wonderful relief. The brand I've been using is " Zand, " but Natural Factor's Oil of Oregano may be even better as it contains 80% Carvacrol. In any case, " Lab testing on Oregano's antibacterial, anti fungal, antiviral, anti-cancer etc. properties has been conducted with naturally distilled, best quality Oregano oil which falls into an average range of 62-85% Carvacrol.
