Guest guest
Of course the general consensus here is that these stones are bad for you, but I have to wonder if they are at some level intentionally produced by the body to store cholesterol, or for some other function. If most (90%?) of people get cholesterol stones, maybe they are somehow useful to the body, and a certain number are needed for proper bodily function? Of course too many are not good, but like most other things in the body, too little of something could be just as bad as too much of it. Cholesterol is needed by the body, and if it doesn't get it through diet the body will make it's own cholesterol. Maybe ridding the body of ALL stones is not healthy? Thoughts?
