Guest guest
> > HI Bee > > I/we have been suffering with breastfeeding Candida since my son was given antibiotics at birth, although I am hypo-thyroid, have fybromyalgia and adrenal problems so I guess maybe he got it from me. +++Hi Haley. Welcome to our group. Are you saying you have candida too, since your symptoms definitely indicate you do? Why was your son given antibiotics at birth? > > Is it ok to be on this low carb diet whilst feeding, my son is 12 months old now so he has a good amount of solids too. Just worried my milk supply will decrease, could this happen? +++Of course it is perfectly healthy to have low-carbs on this diet while breastfeeding. Please understand that carbs are all plant foods, including vegetables, fruits, grains, nuts, seeds, spices, herbs, etc. In other words, carbs are all foods not classified as protein and fat. +++Carbs/plant foods do not contain any special nutrients compared to meats, eggs and good fats I recommend. That is why the Eskimos were perfectly healthy eating all meats and fats and no carbs at all when they consumed their Native/Natural foods. The Eskimos did not have any problems with their breast milk supply. The fact IS that carbs are not essential for human health, but meats, eggs and good fats ARE. > > I have been following your plan for about 10 days, however I am still eating buckwheat, rice and quinoa. I find if I don't eat some grain I start shaking and feeling sick, could this be low blood sugar? +++When you start on this program you will get healing and detoxifying reactions that " feel like " low blood sugar, but you wouldn't have low blood sugar. +++Your son can easily get all of the nutrients he needs from table foods, but it is important that he also have low-carbs, good fats, meats and eggs. Some foods are more damaging to children such as grains, nuts, seeds, etc. Their first food should be egg yolks. They really do believe that. Thank you for taking the time to post this, I may be able to help someone that falls in that area of thinking. There are certainly many out there that do. Thanks again, Angie
