Evening Karma,

>Please accept my apologies, I am really sorry and very embarrassed that this

>when to this group.

Often the semi off topic messages are the most interesting. I found

it very interesting.

I would like to know more about the OxyCise group? Heck, I don't even

know what that term means.

Relative to your post, it sounds as if you are a highly disciplined person

and have tried virtually everything.

I have tried lots of different ideas over the years. Two that I think may

be around a while, is.......

simply..... Trailmix and Water.

I can virtually live on the trailmix. And.... when one compares the

vitamins, minerals, and amino acids, it would be impossible to find a

single food that could even come close.

One can eat only 1.5 to 3.0 ounces of trailmix and make it for a few hours

without being hungry or running out of energy.

On the rare days that I eat conventional food, I stay hungry from daylight

till dark...... no, not dark, till midnight, or until I eat some trailmix.

Unless one has a digestive disorder that prohibits them from eating

trailmix, I suggest that everyone try it for a few days or

weeks. Typically, I eat close to 5 pounds per week. ( plus or minus a few

ounces )

I have collected the analysis of each item in the trailmix and have it all

posted, including my original recipe.....at....

www.fugitt.com/trailmix.htm

This one page also has a number of interesting links, including the place

I buy a mix that is very close to my original recipe. I still add a few

ingredients.

Hi Wayne,

I have to agree with you on the Trail Mix. I love it too. I went through a

period in my youth when I ate as close to nature as possible. I was a close

follower of Dr. Anne Wigmore and lived on live juices. My Uncle called it

" The Weeds and Seeds " diet jokingly poking fun at me. I used to juice a lot

of wheatgrass, I still do, just don't have the time to grow it that often.

Oxycise is a method of working out developed by Jill . She developed

a breath that gets the body Aerobic without impact on the body like running

and jumping do. She was able to lose a lot of weight with this method and

markets it now under the name Oxycise. http://www.oxycise.com I think the

site might still be down for renovation. She is a low-fat vegetarian eater

and has some workout facilities in Colorado Springs, Colorado if you ever

get in that area. She has rock hard abs, and very lean muscles. All of

which she got from doing Oxycise. It involves deep breathing and tightening

the muscles.

I'm still embarrassed that I sent that message to this group. I'm usually

better at keeping things on topic than that. I just filled in the oxy part

of the address and my e-mail program finished it for me, I should have

checked to see it was the correct oxy group. :-)

Thanks Rashelle,

I think that some people just think I am a total NUT! I just need to

experiment, I need to have variety.

I have never tried Harmony in juice before, I just take it straight from the

bottle. I put it in a travel flask and take swigs of it! :-) I take about

three tablespoons a day. One three different times.

You don't have to give up black pepper. Use a pepper mill. Fresh

milled peppercorns are neutral. You just have to avoid the store

bought ground pepper because of a mold problem it has.

Hi Coryn...

I have visited the site you are putting together to " Meet Your Fellow O's " but

do not yet find any fellow O's other than your lovely self...

Just curious, are their other pictures posted somewhere or is the site still

under construction? I also found a couple of recipes...they are lovely too! I

actually made that pecan pie on Thanksgiving...my son and I devoured that in

short order!

...so curiously O-nonnie

Last time I went to buy black pepper at Walmart, they had it in a container

which is also a mill! So cool! So now I have a little pepper mill just from

buying peppercorns. I'm glad to know it's okay to eat it this way--I love

pepper (fresh baked spelt bread dipped in Italian olive oil sprinkled with

freshly ground pepper--yummmm!!!)

If you use peppercorns, you don't have to give up black pepper. It is the

fine grind of pepper that makes it susceptible to mold.

I have detoxed quite a lot of mercury over the past 6 years, and it

certainly seems to have helped. I am less sensitive than I used

to be, but still have a ways to go.

I've seen others say that their ES went away with mercury detox,

but they may no longer be on this list (as they got better)

Hey Lana,

You are doing an outstanding job. You are getting very close to being able to eat regular food. Remember when you it regular food tiny baby bites and chew until it is almost like liquid in your mouth before you swallow. I found that for protein Chicken was the easiest thing to eat. I was always a red meat person before, but NO longer.

You will just see the weight continues to drop off you, as long as you start to do some kind of exercise and eat healthy. It will take a little effort on your part. And if the weight loss slows down that is pretty normal.

Congratulations to you!

Hi Gillian,

Being bored with food it the hardest part of the 1st 30 days. When you start eating regular food, remember take tiny baby bites, and chew until it is almost like a liquid in your mouth. It will take a long time to eat a small amount of food--that is very normal. We were so use to taking big bites and almost inhaling the food. We ate that way our entire life. So it does take work on your part to learn to eat. It is a relearning experience for sure. It does get better and easier. But 16 months later I still have to remember to take small bites.

Its good to hear from you. Its been almost a month for us already. I'm down 17 pounds. I was hoping for 20 but don't think I'm going to make it. I'll take 17! My too tight jeans are now falling off. I have little desire to eat. Mostly I am still on full liquids. I did have part of a cheese enchilada and refried beans on the weekend and loved every bite. Hi Lydia,

I am so glad to hear how well you are doing. It is exciting that you only have 50 pounds to lose. What you wrote will encourage others who are sitting out here lurking trying to figure out should I or shouldn't I do this. Everyone has to figure out when the time is right for them. They must have their head and heart in the right place along with wanting this more than they ever wanted anything in their entire life. It does take a lot of work and effort on your part too. So Congratulations to you for your great success.

Hugs,

Suzanne

Just wanted to write an email on my progress thus far.I was sleeved my Dr. A on September 25 2010. I had some hydration issues for the first two months. I now am down 100 pounds and 50 left to go.I will admit the first 2 months were very hard for me. I am a slow healer as I have type 1 diabetes for 30 years. This was the best decision I have made in my whole life.I know newly sleeve or soon to be sleeved people are frightened, concerned, and scared to name a few....but this is the best decision you can make or have made. Pray and put your body in god's hands first then Dr A.'s and you will be wonderful. If anyone wants to email me with questions please feel free....lydiaw86@... or Facebook me Lydia Venegas Warren.God bless and good luck to all.LydiaSent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry

> Hi, I have been taking the supplements for a few weeks. I am on the coconut

oil and the salt.I have experienced a niacin flush. I have had many different

reactions and I am tired. Some things that have happened are: a full blown head

cold, early period and break though bleeding, headaches, pressure in my head and

jaw, pain in my neck, weight gain, blurry vision, facial rashes, thirst,

moodiness, spaciness, hunger, inattention. Next I have to figure out the ratios

on Fitday. This is new to me and kind of confusing so I will spend some time on

it this coming weekend.
