I realize now after many attempts with fitday and my own calculations, there are two options - to either have 60% of fats and 20% protein *or* have 170g of fat with protein. These are two different things because 170g of fat is not 60% to 68g protein. (Like you said, 170g of fat is more like 80%). It looks like a choice between doing the ratios or gram recommendations of the optimal diet, but not both. If you're able to consume the minimum amount of fat, then you would use the gram measurement.
