Guest guest
You know, I've noticed my nails have been chipping and breaking a lot too. I've NEVER had trouble with my nails, always able to grow them long, and strong. I, too have been on the program fully since last summer, though on the diet since April 2010, and mostly there for a year before that. And I am probably in the category of women gaining weight on this program. I've seen it slowing inching up for about a month now, up about 3-4 lbs so far. What is your body mass index as calculated here: http://www.scientificpsychic.com/fitness/diet.html Bee
Guest guest
my BMI is *Body Mass Index:* 22.9 kg/m^2 *Waist-to-Height ratio:* 0.48 *Percent Body Fat:* 30.2% *Lean Body Mass:* 92.8 lb I don't consider myself overweight, at all. In fact I'm still at about the lowest I've been since I started having children 21 years (and 8 children) ago, but as I said, I can see a trend toward creeping up in weight. When I first went very low carb 2 years ago I dropped to low 120's, regained to about 130, and have in the past month or so seen that creeping upward. NOTHING to complain about, expect I'd like it to not go much higher. You know, it just dawned on me, I also just recently weaned my youngest (about a month ago), so for the first time in almost 22 years I am neither nursing or pregnant - I supposed those hormone changes could have something to do with the weight, huh? We all know that it is your own body that decides what weight is best for it, no matter what we " think " it should be. If your weight is creeping up it may be related to hormones, but always ensure your carbs are low, according to your ratios. All the best, Bee
