Guest guest
I've been torn about how to answer the question on whether or not I could recommend this meat. It's very much like the pathetic candidates one is left to chose between for national office. You don't get any good choices there either, you just pick the lesser of the evils. Less antibiotics and hormones.....whooptie doo. is basically like a " nice " mugger. Do you like a mugger who doesn't beat you up, doesn't take your wedding ring, doesn't rape you, and apologizes for taking your money? The bottom line is that you still get robbed, and that's how I feel about . You CAN and SHOULD do better. This is your one brief and brilliant life, why settle for mediocre? The #1 issue is that this is FEEDLOT meat, period. It's loaded with Omega-6 fats from all the grain, as well as the degradation that occurs within a sedentary animal eating fatting food and no " natual " green living grasses. You also have the risk of all the micro-organisms that thrive wherever there is concentration camp living, like a feedlot. Feedlots are a blight on the earth, they pollute the air, water and land. They are not sustainable and they are not a nice place to visit much less live downwind or downstream from. Animals shouldn't live in a factory. It's an insult to the much-abused word NATURAL to use it with regard to these products, what's natural about it? The only thing that comes natural to them is very, very slick marketing and advertising. Will in Minneapolis
