Mid-late december I started trying to loose weight and cut out all wheat and mostly dairy and have had very little sugar. I didnt' stumble upon this lifestyle change here until about 2 weeks ago. I have been experiencing a variety of issues since a week ago Friday. Is it possible I'm retracing even though I haven't fully gone on the diet change yet? I am working at trying to get the supplements... I have 7 children and a hubby to put ont he diet so it'll take a bit. +++Hi there. Welcome to our group. What is your name please? +++That's wonderful you have 7 children. Wow, I'm impressed! What issues have you been experiencing since a week ago Friday, since those may be normal healing and detoxifying reactions that aren't necessarily because of retracing. > > 2. I have come to love cran-water. Is that a legal cheat here? I use 12 oz of cranberries in good water and let the juice pop out and then put 1/2 cup of cran juice in 28oz of water to drink. No sweeteners. +++Cranberries are fruits, and there are no fruits on this program except for small amounts of lemon and lime for people who can tolerate them. Fruits contain fructose which is one of the worst sugars for humans because of how the body processes it, so even healthy people should have small amounts. > > 3. I would love to tell my father about this diet for him and my mother. However, my father has Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) - the genetic form. His mother, her siblings, many of his cousins, and his grandfather have either died from complications of or had it their selves. from what I've read red meat increases the growth of cysts, and when there are cysts near a certain part of the kidneys it increases blood pressure - which he has had happen. He also had a stroke most likely due to complications from PKD. Would going on this regimen/diet possibly be further harmful to his kidneys? If not, is it *possible* for the disease to be reversed as he goes through retracing? (I have not inherited the disease, thus my children are not possible carriers of it - just concerned about my dad) +++I'm not familiar with PKD so I couldn't advise you in that regard. What issues have you been experiencing since a week ago Friday, since those may be normal healing and detoxifying reactions that aren't necessarily because of retracing. My name is Vicky. I'm a young 33 years old. Friday started out with severe pain in my belly button that moved down to the right side on Saturday. Then it was nausea and increased bowel movements (I rarely get diarreha, even with a stomach virus, and haven't thrown up since I was 16years old). Then I started having burning pains all around my ribs and all around my belly. Felt like it was on fire for a few days. Last May I had my first ever ultra sound with baby #7. Two of them infact. I was thinking the burning might have had to do with that or else I had an ovarian cyst that ruptured. And now, I have cold symptoms with severe sinus pressure. Going on day 3 of the sinus issues. It usually doesn't last that long for me.

It's good to know your name since I don't keep track of people by their email address. : ) Nausea, diarrhea two of the many ways your body gets rid of toxins, so those would be normal detoxifying reactions. The burning pains are usually caused by toxins too. Sounds like your burning is too high to be ovarian cyst, unless it was down on either side of your uterus. Sinuses are also another way the body gets rid of toxins. So please rest assured that this program is already starting to help your body get rid of toxins so it can heal like it should.
