Usually you do the first enema after a normal bowel movement, which is normally

in the morning.

You do the 2nd enema whenever it is convenient, afternoon or evening.

It shouldn't take very long to empty the water. If it is taking a lot of time

maybe you are trying to be too careful. I've given myself a lot of enemas with

the bulb syringe, and I steadily squeezed on the bulb so there is a steady flow.
