Guest guest
We all wish you well Phebe, and like said, make sure you get plenty of tests to see what is wrong with your liver. Personally, I would not subject myself to a liver biopsy because I think blood testing and regular imaging can achieve a diagnosis. Blood tests alone will rule out parasites, infection, hepatitis, blockages, toxicity, or other causes of this. Of course it's very possible to have multiple conditions simultaneously. Be sure to test for the main ones, all the hepatitis bugs, Lyme disease (rapidly becoming the most insideous infectious disease in the US) and other parasites. I always worry when people do scores of flushes and still get stones. That means to me that the original problems are not being dealt with. It also seems like 20 flushes in one year is excessive and could be dangerous. I hope you have some alternative healers you can go to now. I'm not sure why your total cholesterol was so low (maybe you flushed it all out!) but it's probably good that it is back up there so it can protect you. Find out if the bilirubin is congugated or unconjugated which will tell you if the problem is pre-hepatic, hepatic, or post-hepatic (obstructive). I'm not sure what you mean when you say your " liver is swollen " ? I can think of a few things that would not harm you, would help virtually ANY liver condition and could make all healing more likely. Here's a few: 1) Castor oil hot pack over the liver externally 1-2 times a day 2) Drinking plenty of spring water all day long 3) Multiple doses of Ester C 4) Digestive Enzymes I usually take 30-40 pills a day for something like this 5) Acidophilus culture. Once the digestion is sour, you need it. 6) Gentle exercise like walking or swimming for about 60 minutes a day 7) Breathing exercises (very powerful!) via yoga, meditation or other 8) Emotional balance. However you can achieve it. 9) Stress reduction. Again, however it works for you. 10) Think positive. Don't let the docs freak you out! Plan to win!
