Guest guest
Hello!! I joined this group a while back but got overwhelmed and never really followed through. It doesn't help that my whole family thinks we are nuts for not letting our kids eat gluten, let alone everything else I think we need to start doing! Anyway, my almost 4 year old likely has SPD, she is a space cadet, had chronic constipation up until about a year ago when we started supplementing magnesium and eliminating most gluten (not 100%, they make bread in school, she eats it sporadically). So, I'm reading about candida being a possible culprit (or one of the factors, anyway) to SPD. Any advice about how to start with a young child? We also have a 1 yr old that is very likely gluten intolerant, and I assume it'll just be a family lifestyle change. What supplements and dosages should I be giving my 18 month old and 4 yr old? I don't want to overdo it. We mostly eat following a weston a price/primal approach, but I'm always so unsure of what supplements and doseages to give to my children as there is a lot of conflicting advice out there. THANK YOU!
