Hi again ,

I took the Nutiva jar and another jar of coconut oil in a mason jar in my

luggage...and the cod liver oil bottles. No problems that I'm aware of:)

Thanks Marti!

One more question -- did you take the original jar or put it in a different

container? I am using Nutiva and I would like to just take the 15 oz container

(not yet opened).

I was going to stop taking VCO during my trip, but I tried stopping it yesterday

and I felt terrible!

to check bags...anyone know if that is irradiating the food?

I know I can't carry it on the plane.

Thanks, Bee!

This is good to know, although those scanners make me want to just stay home:)

Eventually I'll have to fly and I will wrap the oil and supplements up like you

suggest. Thanks again!

Marti

+++Hi Marti,

X-rays emit radiation so I don't see how they would NOT damage foods.

This is how I protect my supplements, but I don't know if I am right or not. I

put all supplements, including coconut oil and cod liver oil in my " checked-in

baggage, " and I wrap them in aluminum foil, and also put them in a small bag

lined with aluminum foil.

I put other supplements in a divided container, with enough for my trip, and

wrap it separately too.
