Guest guest
Hi, I have been following Bee's recommendations for a few weeks. It's been going well and I have been feeling good some of the time, but I have a question now about my lack of appetite, which is very unusual for me. I've tried to read up in the archives, but could you please really, really spell out for me, as if I was very dim, what to do when I don't feel like eating? Do I postpone a meal, or skip it? Are there things I should consume whether I " eat " or not, such as coconut oil, liquids, or supplements? Thank you Lesley
Guest guest
Lesley, When I don't feel like eating I drink homemade chicken broth. Not just plain broth, it tastes really good with celery, garlic, ginger, onions and most importantly good salt. The egg drink is another drink I'll have. I just want to confirm it. I know she told me the same thing when i first started out, but I just couldn't get the knowledge thru my skull (tho i kept eating since she said to!). I just read " Life Without Bread " and it explains that very symptom of lack of appetite when we switch over to fat-burning. They said in their clinics, they have to 'force' people to eat so, as Bee stated, your body does not consume itself to get the nutrients that it needs. it was a great " aha " moment for me. It was very tempting for me not to eat, since I wanted to " lose weight " , as well. But now I understand the importance of eating the important food (don't worry about veggies at times like this) to fuel the body.
