Guest guest
Hi Bee, I've been on your program for just about 2 years now so I know I've been running on fats for quite awhile now. What I'm wondering is since I recently traveled and did consume some carbs (off your program) does that mess up what my body is running on for awhile now? Or would I have to eat lots of carbs and sugar for months to switch it back to glucose/sugar? Thanks for your help.

I don't know how long it takes the body to switch back, and while it is working on it you will get symptoms and reactions to the changes the body has to make in order to do that. Then you wouldn't be able to know whether your reactions are because of eating off list foods, or because of retracing, or because you are not maintaining your ratios. Guest guest
Ok Bee. That makes sense. Even though I was traveling for 2 weeks and had at least one cheat a day (even if it was just cheese or something so still very low carb) and some days I probably didn't have any besides maybe some bad oil if that's what they cooked my meat in (unaware of course). What I've noticed is even though I had a lot of detox reactions for the first 6 days I'm now feeling a lot better again. I'm wondering if my body has gotten a lot stronger in the last 2 years and so I can detox a lot better now? By no means do I want or like to cheat but I'm hoping with what I had to work with while traveling it didn't set me back a whole lot. Maybe a month? Or do you think I'm feeling better already after 6 days because my body has stopped detoxing?
