Guest guest
HOWDY WES! OK, here's what " I " believe about FAT. I could be wrong, but I am fairly certain that I read it on Bee's site... That fat you are packing around is your body's response to TOXINS. It's not just fat. It is a toxin wrapped in fat. Your system could not handle it or dispose of it at the time because you were not healthy. So it wraps it in some fat & shifts it to STORAGE until a later date. Feel your underarm near your armpit... roll it around between your fingers. Does it feel GRAINY, or small nodules? That's your toxins. I had it everywhere. It's not so much the FAT that you want to shed... it is the TOXINS that you want to DUMP. So if you can do a mindset & completely turn your thoughts around, I think you will be more successful on Bee's program. I think it helps our EGO also. Because being fat has so many negative connotations to it. Being UN-healthy inspires us to get healthy. Losing the fat is just a BONUS! Losing the toxins is a blessing. My thoughts got so much better, so rapidly, that it was spooky. I almost said to myself, " Hey, there you are! Wondered where the heck you'd been. " After two months, I am feeling not only like my old self... but in many ways, a new & improved self. I finish tasks at hand, instead of saying LATER. My laundry gets folded & put away when the dryer beeps. I do my dishes after my meal, instead of watching how high the stack can get in the sink. My bills get put in ONE place & get paid every week... instead of tearing my house apart looking for a misplaced, late bill. The TV pretty much doesn't get turned on nowadays, I am too busy. Or... and this has been a blessing to me, I am RELAXING. Something that had disappeared in my life for the past couple of years. I crochet or I look through books for ideas. I do Shabby Chic furniture with roses painted on it. Really, I paint anything that will stand still for an hour, hah! Wes, you can do this. You will know you are on the right road when that old SPARK happens one day and you find yourself CREATING again. All the best in all you do! I think for me the litmus test will be if my body starts shedding some weight which I have not been able to do for a very very long time. I am about 90% there on the diet as I am just starting and having to weed a few things out. Its interesting how you talk about oatmeal brain and creativity. I am a musician and have not been able to write anything worthwhile for a very very long time, or even have the energy or desire to even try for that matter. > > > Wes
