I have a band, too. Right now, it's too tight and I'm leaving in a few

minutes for Mexico to get a small 'unfill' from my surgeon.

I'm not having much success losing weight, though. I am thinking that I am

so toxic and my metabolism is so screwed up that my body simply refuses to

give up the fat. I have heard that toxins are stored in the fat cells, so

by my way of reasining, losing weight at this time would really only

concentrate the toxins in the fat that's left. I believe in the

intellingence of the body... that it simply won't do something that it knows

is bad for it.

I am seeing a naturopath in a couple of weeks, and doing tons of lab tests

to see what the problem is. She is suspecting heavy metal poisoning. After

a full regimen of detoxing my organs, using the foot detox pads and major

diet changes, I believe my body will be much more willing to give up the

excess weight.

I did a couple of flushes before surgery, but not since. I am on this list

right now to build up my confidence to give it a serious go in the next few

weeks. I will be doing the Oriental herbs from Chang before any

flushings, though, as I want to be thorough in as few oilings as possible.

I have a hard time drinking all that oil. ;o)

I hope you do well with your band, and best of luck to you with your
