Guest guest
Dear Ali, Wow, I wish you didn't have to go through all that. I don't know if it is exactly the same thing, but I have noticed that I experience some pain in my lower back as if someone were pushing me when I eat a lot of things that are detoxifying, or too much carb at once (even though I stay within my ratios), it's hard for me to tell what causes this. And usually it happens in the morning upon waking up. Epsom salts are doing wonders for me. I do one a day, or one every other day.  Maybe some of the reactions we are experiencing are caused by retracing? I have noticed that I definitely feel better when I eat only meat and fat. But on the other hand, eating lots of fat also give me symptoms, albeit easier to handle than when I have plant foods. I have to be very careful with spices, onions, garlic, leeks. The things that I seem to tolerate are: green beans, zucchinis, lamb, beef, pork, shellfish, peppers, eggplants, tomatoes and only small amounts of turnips, spaghetti squash or cauliflower. This is pretty much what I eat. I don't drink the egg drink, but I eat a lot of the fake cream, and I bake a fake pumpkin pie once in a while. Broccoli is definitely a no-no: every time I eat some, I get this feeling that it gets stuck in my throat. Some days, all I eat are scrambled eggs. I have also experimented with cooking my yeast flakes, and I feel better when I do so. I believe that it is either the carbohydrates in the foods or detoxifying nutrients that give me reactions, and fish and chicken have significant quantities of carbs. I have also stopped going to the docs 2 years ago because it is not worth my time. It's very strange because my husband's family is in the medical profession. The only thing I did was to have my mercury fillings removed not long after I had started Bee's program. I had to since all of my teeth were infected underneath the fillings. I went through hell during a 3-month period, but a month or so after all the work had been done, my boobs " exploded " and my period came back after a 2-year stop. Ali, I don't know if that helps. This journey towards health is very tough, but I hope that in the end, you'll see significant improvements. To be sure, I went all the way back to the year was born to calculate how long I would need to stay on the program, but I am convinced that I will need more time than I calculated because I need to factor in emotional issues, stress, pollutions of all kinds etc... Don't hesitate to write because I like to receive messages from other group members. They seem to be my staple. When my stomach does empty, within a few minutes I start to get this pain in my left back - not quite a pain - more like someone is digging their knuckles into my back. > > I am wondering if that may be my pancreas struggling to output digestive enzymes - I am already diabetic and have gradually lost my insulin output, so maybe my pancreas is struggling anyway. Whilst I have had digestive issues for years and it has been particularly bad the last three years, I have never experienced anything like this, so perhaps Bee is right and I ought to go back to the Doc's. > > They have been so useless up to now that I have all but given up on them. I tell them I have this issue in my side/back and all I seem to get is shrugged shoulders! I waited 6 months just for an ultrasound (which didn't show anything anyway - and apparently should have only taken 4 weeks for the appointment!) and nothing was picked up on a Barium swallow (I had to wait for another 5 months for!), so I am pretty fed up with the Medical Profession. By the time they manage to get to the bottom of anything you are either better or dead! > > Ali. > > > > > > > > Hi Ali and Members, > > > > > > I just wanted to share a couple of things with you since my digestion is still not very good after being 17 months on Bee's diet: I still can't have broccoli, onions, garlic, leeks, cinnamon, and chicken among other things because they create a lot of reactions. So I just eat them occasionally. I also get reactions with eggs, butter, ghee, fish, and other foods, but I keep eating them since they are nutrient-dense and not plant foods. Maybe people with a poor digestion such as yours would fare better on the all meat and fat diet? Or at least you could eliminate the plant foods that bother you. Sometimes I also suspect that I am not absorbing everything I eat since there are days when I binge and binge as if I didn't get all my nutrients. > > > I share your concerns about not healing the way I should, but I know that I am still healing in spite of digestive issues since I have had retracing episodes, my period has come back etc...I hope it is the same for you. > > > > > > Best wishes, Helene
